"O
most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, people honor
and invoke you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost
despaired of. Pray for me, for I am so helpless and alone.
Please help to bring me visible and speedy assistance. Come to my
assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of
heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (state
your request) and that I may praise God with you always." "I
promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always
honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage
devotion to you by publishing this request. Amen."
Lord
Jesus Christ, in union with all who praise you in heaven with Mary, all the
angels and saints, we praise and glorify you.
for the special graces and privileges with which you have gifted St.
Jude. Because of what you
have given him, bless us also through his intercession with the particular needs
we ask for now, but especially at the hour of our death, that we may experience

for your virtues and miracles. You
are a powerful patron and helper in serious problems and sufferings, we come to
you now and ask you from the depths of our heart to come to our aid with your
powerful intercession. You
have received from God the privilege to assist those who almost despair of all
hope. Look upon us our life
at times seems filled with crosses.
Our earthly journey to the Father encounters persistent trials and pain.
At times we experience darkness fatigue, unrest, discouragement and
mistrust. Our very faith
itself is tested. We are
overwhelmed. We trust and
know that you as Patron of hopeless cases and situations, want, like our loving
heavenly Father, to help us.

for lasting peace in our hearts, homes, nation, world
Give
peace, 0 Lord, in our days, for there is none other that fights for us, but only
you, our God. Let there be peace in Your strength, 0 Lord R. And plenty in Your
strong places. Let us pray: 0 God, from whom proceed all holy desires, all right
counsels and just works; grant unto us your servants that peace which the world
cannot give; that our hearts may be de- voted to Your service, and that, being
delivered from the fear of our enemies, we may pass our time in peace under Your
protection. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen
For
those who most need our prayers those who will die today. For the poor, the
sick, the jobless, for those in jail, for those suffering from loneliness or
depression. For those suffering with marriage or divorce problems. For
those suffering from life threatening illnesses such as cancer, heart diseases, diabetes,
leukemia or AIDS. For those suffering from addictions to drugs, alcohol,
gambling or gluttony. For all of these we offer our prayers. Let
us pray: Consider,
Oh Lord, Your faithful ones, suffering from bodily and mental affliction, and
refresh the lives which You have created, that by being bettered by suffering,
they may ever be conscious of Your merciful salvation. May the Lord, Jesus
Christ, be with you to guard you, within you to preserve you, before you to lead
you, behind you to watch you, above you to bless you. Who lives and reigns with
the Father in the Holy Spirit in Eternity. Amen. May
the blessing of Almighty God, Father, Son
and Holy Spirit descend upon you and
remain for all time. Amen.
